Single Ladies: You May Be The Reason You’re Not Yet Married!

You want to know why you are not married yet? The importance of getting married can never be over emphasized. Nature has made it like that and who are we to undermine the importance of marriage to the society and the world at large? Single ladies usually use any form of tactics to make us believe that they are happy being single! No way, they are not. They can deceive us but can’t deceive themselves.

I have a lot of single friends in the female category and I have observed some things that maybe hindering or limiting their chances of getting married and over 90% are caused by them. In this article, I will be highlighting some of them. I hope they get to read this because I really can’t say it to their faces. 2017 is around the corner and if our God gives us life, I’m hoping some of the points made here can be corrected for a better 2017 for the single ladies to find their missing ribs and migrate out of the single world J

Below are why you’re not married yet

• You maybe too selective: hey, I’m not saying you should pick anything that comes your way. But in most cases, ladies remain single because they are too picky! I have a friend who wants to marry a very rich guy and she doesn’t want to marry someone who is 10 to 15 years older than her. Please don’t get me wrong, she lives in a country with sad economy where many guys at 25 are still battling to come out of the university (though not all). It means that getting such a wealthy man under 30 maybe extremely difficult except in rare scenarios. And she doesn’t want to marry someone far older than her. I called her and told her to marry a guy under 30 with a good and prospective career who loves and care for her. She said no. Now you get the point, right? You have to be realistic while looking for hubby. There are things that should take precedence and not the wealth. We all know the importance of wealth. But go for something realistic or you may remain unmarried for a longer time.
• Your past experience may still be hunting you: yes, you have this past experience that is hunting you negatively. Maybe you had this fantastic boyfriend but the relationship didn’t work out and you’re using him as the cut off mark for other guys. My sister, you really need to think twice. The past is past and you must learn to get over heartbreak. Never judge any guy based on your past relationship. Another ugly angle to this point is when a lady suffered devastating heartbreaking and she becomes extremely negative, fearful and pessimistic. • Your attitudes: this remains the major factor hindering so many ladies from getting married. I can bet you, so many ladies have ugly attitudes. Many act nonchalant while many tend to keep a lot of male friends while in serious relationship and fond of hanging out and flirting with them. This usually creates an unsecured environment for the guy dating such ladies. Read Overcoming insecurity in relationships. I’m not saying you shouldn’t have male friends but let there be limit. Some ladies are bad callers; some are bad ‘texters’. Some kill you with calls while some hardly reply to calls and text messages. Some are social media freaks and belong to all the social network sites you can think of. Some have all the apps for social networking online. My sister, too much of everything is too bad. The people I hate most are the bad callers…those who hardly pick or reply to calls. I don’t waste my time with them. Re-examine your attitudes and redefine your self. Dont stay too long unmarried.
• The spirit of feminism: the spirit of feminism is growing day in day out. It’s becoming worrisome how many ladies have allowed this spiritual enslavement get hold of them. This spirit ends up making you too selective, makes you a competitor as against your man, makes you question your natural obligations, makes you fight yourself and makes you suspect every man that comes your way. My sister, wake up before it’s too late. There is something you don’t know about this feminism of a thing. That celebrity is deceiving you and you’re falling for it. Some of your celebrity role models who proclaim feminism are actually not feminists in the other room. You need to think twice before you grow too old. You also need to understand your immediate environment. You need to understand how your society works and their value system. No one is saying you should become a slave to any man.. no way, that is unacceotable but please dont question your natural obligations. Two captians can't be in one sheep at the same time.
