Few years back, I was seriously against
same sex ‘victims’. I called them ‘victims’ for a reason. That’s a talk for
another day. I hated anything same sex. It was annoying to me. During the
period some countries were under pressure to legalize same sex marriage, a
friend of mine said something about same sex people. She supported them and I
almost broke her head. I felt disgusted each time I heard about same sex.
I personally hated America for
legalizing it and I strongly condemned the countries that legalized it. Why are
we really against same sex couples? That is the question and the answer has
always being that it’s against nature! We claimed it’s completely against law
of nature and against God. We ended up ridiculing the victims and discriminate
them in most countries.
We forgot that they are humans too.
Now, before you begin to judge me, I am not a gay or a lesbian. Never and I don’t
have any friend that’s into same sex saga. I’ve always believed that love for
same sex has to do more with biological issues than physical. This is why I can’t
be a victim. However for those who became victims or who will become victims, I
think it’s important we protect them.
I recently stopped condemning
same sex couples after I watched the leaked video of a beauty queen who was
making love with her lesbian partner went viral. I began to reason outside
sentiment. I saw how people came against her and made her a shadow of herself.
I saw how she was humiliated. I sent her words of encouragement and my
perception about same sex partners changed. Though I can never be a victim and
I may not find it funny when a gay or a lesbian tries to woo me. It happened in
the past and I didn’t find it funny. I don’t think I will still find it funny
now. But I think those calling for the act to carry prison sentence are the
biggest hypocrites.
Why? All sins are sins! I find it
funny that churches singled such act out and condemned it brutally. It’s sad and
shows the level of hypocrisy that runs in various religious groups. Sin is sin.
No sin is bigger and no one is smaller. If you want to be sending victims of
same sex love to prison (in some countries, anyone found to be a same sex
partner may serve up to 14 years in prison), it means, you have to include all
sins too, including gossiping, lies etc. No matter how small you may assume the
sin to be, it must carry long prison sentence.
The question is, when did we
become God? We really need to leave judgment for God. Those who engage in the act of masturbation should also
serve in prison. Masturbation is also anti nature. God only created man and
woman to make love and not an individual to make love individually. You cheat
on your partner, you watch port, you masturbate, you even watch lesbians, you
lie, you steal, you indulge in all forms of sexual acts, you sex through the
anus etc and you still have the mouth to attack same sex lovers? You need
serious deliverance. We need to leave judgment for God to handle. Allow same
sex couples to enjoy everything else other couples do enjoy. God will see to
the judgment.
