The World Has Gone Mad Again: Check out London's first naked restaurant

The Bunyadi, emphasis on the "bun," is London's first naked restaurant from the creative folks at Lollipop, a company that creates "unique experiences because we believe people deserve nothing less."

The Bunyadi, emphasis on the "bun," is London's first naked restaurant from the creative folks at Lollipop, a company that creates "unique experiences because we believe people deserve nothing less."

"It's a restaurant where you come in and we give you gowns to wear," Seb Lyall, Lollipop's founder, told CNN. 

So far so good.

"Then you enter the naked area and you're still in your gowns and then you sit down in a space where there is no light, no electricity, no gas - everything is natural from the furniture to the bamboos," he continues.

Oooooh! Sounds eclectic and romantic.

"And you have an option to de-robe, as we say, take your clothes off to experience liberation from everything."

Lemme run to the bathroom real quick.

There are two rules to dining at Bunyadi: no cellphones and no photos. But it's not like you're going to get in any time in the near future anyway. The restaurant boasts a 46,000-person wait list and is only open for three months.

"The restaurant is almost a social experiment. It's a challenge to society's image about bodies and nakedness," Lyall continues.

At least they have a sufficient sample size, if it is an experiment.

While your decision to strip down at dinner is optional, the staff's is not.

"The staff is naked with some bits and bobs covered where logistically needed," Lyall explained.

The food will run customers about $95 per person and guess what! It too is "naked" all-natural, preservative-free fare, Lyall explained in an interview with Talk Radio UK.

"The trend of healthy food, using clean food, naked food. Our food is home-grown. Our cutlery is edible. We don't have anything made of plastic, metal and we won't use electricity or gas," Lyall said.

The restaurant opened this month.

My words

Come to think of it...I have been following this so called naked restaurant for some time now. It is all about going natural. What message are they really trying to pass across? May be, they are telling us that we should go back to the 'adamic' era! May be they are tired of artificial life style. If that is the case, I strongly hold that the Europeans should apologize to African for contributing to the destruction of their culture and heritage (May be I'm kidding).

There are places like that in Africa (may be Im not sure). I'm still trying to figure out what this is all about. I'm left with no other option but to think and believe that some people are simply out of this world. The crazy part of it is that there are more than 40k people on the wait list. May be I'm among! I'll love to be there. Just to feed my eyes!
