Overcoming
insecurity in relationships is not easy, I must confess, it’s not a bit. It’s
like a mind game and you really have to win it. Overcoming insecurity in
relationships is something you must achieve if you really want to enjoy your
relationship and your life. Believe me when I say overcoming insecurity in
relationships is possible. I’ve been there and I came out. Feeling insecure is worse
than death itself! Its limits you and makes you feel not good enough! Are you
feeling insecure in your relationship? In this article, I’ll discuss some of
the things you can do in order to make overcoming insecurity in relationships
easier for you.
Overcoming insecurity in relationships
- Develop yourself: insecurity makes you feel you’re not good
enough. Over the years, I’ve come to realize that the best thing you can do for
yourself is to develop yourself. You really need to see the best of you. Yes,
you may be in a relationship but see yourself as a person with full life and
energy, see potentials in yourself. Always believe you can always do it.
Inferiority complex is the major reason you feel insecure in your relationship.
You feel your partner can always get someone better than you. You feel you’re
not good enough for your partner. Hear the truth…the moment you begin to invest in yourself and grow, you
will simply eliminate inferiority complex. The moment your partner begins to
see that you are an important asset too who can be loved and wanted out there,
he or she will begin to shape into the relationship and you will simply
overcome insecurity in your relationship.
Summary of this point:
Spend time, money, attention, energy etc on yourself. Always remember
that the very software we all make use are constantly updated. Failure to update
software or application means such programme will be outdated. Similarly, you’ve
to constantly update yourself and improve your market value. Try to be a better person who is wanted and
you will simply overcome insecurity in your relationship.
- Dwell more on positive than negative thoughts: look, negative thought is a killer of destiny and a destroyer of motivation. If you spend your energy observing and analyzing the very negative thoughts that found their way into your subconscious mind, you will be doing yourself more harm than good. Negative thoughts always present the ugly side of life and will surely make you feel insecure in your relationship. Please do away with it by reading books and articles on how to overcome negative thoughts. You simply defeat negative thoughts by constantly proclaiming positive words.
Summary of this point:
Simply eliminate the power of negative thoughts from your life.
- Don’t make it look like your whole life depends on your partner: I don’t know the nature of your relationship but once you make something your all it can simply fail you! Yes, it will. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t give your all to your relationship but if you see your partner as your life…you may begin to feel insecure when they are not around. Believe me, you will simply reduce your life span with this attitude.
Summary of this point
Give your best to your partner and relationship but they make your
partner your life!
- Love yourself: this is the ultimate rule. The very best step for overcoming insecurity in relationships is to love your first before loving another. If you don’t believe in yourself, it will be difficult to believe another. Love yourself beyond anything else…admire yourself on daily bases and appreciate your strength and ignore your weakness. Never ever dwell on your weakness. I mean those things you don’t like about yourself; you have to stay away from them.
Overcoming insecurity in relationships is simple if you’re
determined to deliver yourself. There is no magic to it: You need to love
yourself, dwell on positive thoughts, never make your partner your life and
spend time developing yourself. Follow the above steps to make overcoming
insecurity in relationships easier for you. Please share this post. Thank you.
